Nourishing Skin Tea

I developed this cleansing tea for skin to help nourish a clear and healthy complexion from the inside out. As this tea steeps, it draws botanical compounds from calendula, red clover, nettles, oat straw, and rose hips and petals to support the body’s natural detoxification and healing processes. It’s a delightful blend of flowers, leaves, stems, and fruit that’s a joy to drink – with the added benefit of soothing, replenishing, and toning the skin.

🌿 Calendula flower is widely known for its ability to help tissue regenerate. Western herbalists use it internally to help resolve skin problems and support the body’s detoxification systems, as skin issues can be a signal that the body is overloaded with toxins. Used externally, the glycoprotiens and nucleoprotiens in this plant have also been linked to increased cell turnover and the stimulation of collagen production.

Cover and let steep for 10 minutes or up to 4 hours. (Longer steeping times will extract more minerals.) Remove the strainer. Sweeten with local honey, if desired. Enjoy!
