Hi, I’m Mary

the herbalist, formulator, dreamer, and gardener behind Dandelion Wish. My biggest hope with each of my herbal offerings is that they’ll help people feel happy and nourished. The plant potions at Dandelion Wish are handcrafted in small, seasonal batches to offer gentle support for daily woes - from upset stomachs to sleepless nights.

Wrapped in beauty and sent with a hand-written note, each sustainable package is shared as a heartfelt gift from me to you.

MY HERBAL AWAKENING


After years of thriving in the fast-paced, always-on technology industry, I decided to take a step back from the corporate world and reconnect with my family, my friends and myself. I found deep rejuvenation in my garden. I spent day after healing day with my hands in the soil and my nose buried in herbalism books. 

With the help of our herbal allies, I reconnected with nature and became attuned to my body’s needs in ways that I never imagined possible. I returned to my center, and as a reflection of my own growth, my apothecary blossomed while I perfected many of the recipes we now offer at Dandelion Wish.

I began to share what I was learning with friends and family, tucking paper-wrapped parcels into their hands and leading them down the paths of my Los Angeles garden. Their enthusiasm and support inspired me to start sharing my herbal offerings with others. I’m humbled and grateful to share these tokens of love with anyone seeking plant-powered nourishment that fits seamlessly into their daily life - no matter how busy they may be.

 
 
 

I support organic and regenerative farming practices every step of the way. 


We are nature. When the Earth flourishes and heals, so do we. With that philosophy in mind, all of the herbs at Dandelion Wish are ethically wildcrafted or grown using organic or regenerative farming practices. 

My personal organic herb garden is flourishing more with each passing year. I dream of someday growing most of the herbs that I use at Dandelion Wish myself, but for now I supplement my personal supply with intentional purchases from brands I trust.

PACKAGING

I try to use the most sustainable packaging for each product possible. From compostable tea containers to recyclable glass tincture bottles and biodegradable labels, these eco-friendly offerings shine in a modern sustainable home.

SHIPPING

My sustainability focus carries into my shipping practices, as well. I use recyclable cardboard boxes, biodegradable tape, and other thoughtful touches when transporting Dandelion Wish offerings from my bustling apothecary to your cozy home.

 

A little about me

  • I live on the westside of Los Angeles

    I love the creativity that thrives in this city and that within a few hours you can be at the beach, the desert or in the mountains. People from all walks of life call Los Angeles home and that cultural diversity shines through in the food, music and the arts. It’s what makes LA a very special place.

  • In my spare time …

    I spend a lot of time in my garden with my two retrievers, a big rescued tuxedo cat named Alfie, and my four happy hens. I also love hiking, skiing, and spending time in nature.

    I’m passionate about philanthropic work that focuses on the arts and supporting underserved youth in Los Angeles.
